Here at Christ Chapel we have felt the need to reach out
to others. While we do this in our own communities - and rightly so - we
have felt compelled to reach out beyond our borders to others much less
fortunate than ourselves. There are places in the world where our poor
are considered to be rich. It is to one of those places we have felt led
to go. The nation of Mozambique in south eastern Africa.
Devastated by an 11-year long civil war, ruined by AIDS,
the country is on the road to recovery, but it will be long and hard.
Hundreds of thousands of orphans and abandoned children are the focus of Iris
Ministries and we are answering the call to help them.

OUR NUMBER ONE REQUEST FROM YOU IS YOUR PRAYERS!! We are small
country Church, doing what we feel the Lord would have us to do. We
believe that as we and other pray, the Lord will supply the needs so that we
may go and share the Love of Jesus with those whose need we can barely begin
to imagine.
